Our Sunday Service

Our Sunday Service

What happens?

Our service starts at 10am with music, featuring songs selected from classic hymns, more modern tunes, and occasionally some original compositions.

Following music, we’ll have a few announcements, followed by open sharing. We believe that God has gifted each believer to serve Him and His people, and so we have provided this time in our service for those in attendance to come forward and ask for prayer, bring a praise report, or share how God has touched their life recently.

After open sharing, we’ll partake in communion, and then listen to the morning’s message. Unlike what you may be used to, we have a rotating selection of speakers chosen by our elders, so each message is unique.

Once the message concludes, we have a time of fellowship, complete with some assorted refreshments. Please feel free to grab a drink, a snack, and find someone in the body to chat with.

What about the children?

Our Sunday School team would love to have your children join them in the morning! We provide childcare in our Nursery for those kiddos who haven’t started Kindergarten yet, and Sunday School classes for those in grade school. At this time, we’re having kids in middle & high school stay in the main service.

As we believe God has called families to worship together, please have your children sit (or stand) with you during music. After music, we’ll dismiss the K-2nd grade class, and after open sharing, we’ll dismiss the 3rd-5th grade class.

Where do I park?

As we’re a small body, there’s not a lot of parking spaces in the main parking lot. If you can find a spot there, you’re welcome to it! (There are some spaces around the back of the building too.) Otherwise, please park in front of the building on 33rd or Donald St (highlighted green in the photo).

If you’d prefer not to park on the road, you can also use the parking lot for the medical offices to the north of us, along Willamette & Donald (highlighted blue in the photo). During the week these spots are only available while the medical offices are closed.
